What we treat

The skills of a physiotherapist lie in analysing how you move, sit, walk or run and through this identifying any abnormalities which may lead to pain or injury.

A thorough assessment of your problem will be carried out and I aim to treat your symptoms as well as identifying the underlying cause. Therefore together we can get you on the track to recovery.

Pilates

Pilates is a type of exercise designed to improve strength, stability, flexibility and posture as well as enhance mental awareness. Regular pilates can help improve posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility as well as relieve stress and tension.

For elite athletes pilates can compliment training by developing whole body strength and flexibility and therefore reduce the risk of injury.

The nature of pilates makes it an accessible and appropriate form of exercise for almost all ages and fitness levels. Each exercise can be modified as appropriate to suit the individual.

Anne Saunders Physiotherapy is able to offer 1:1 pilates sessions or group classes. Numbers in the classes are kept low to allow for individual modification of exercises as needed. Classes are designed to be comfortable, effective and most of all enjoyable!
